At times, there were steps taken backward, but each setback was merely a stepping stone towards progress. Now, Bloktopia finds itself at a juncture where it can share its birthday celebrations in the virtual realm with its community.</p><p>The audience was delighted as Bloktopia unveiled some of the remarkable features and updates that have been diligently crafted. Additionally, they shared some exciting announcements about the future of this metaverse. Below, we delve into some of the highlights from this momentous event:</p><p><img src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1600/1*qFfzrmRBs39GvEMvuyc96g.png" />Paddy (CMO) and Ross (CEO) delivering updates live from the M3TASPACES stage</p><h3 id="strong-the-most-amount-of-concurrent-users-across-one-event-to-date-strong"><strong>The Most Amount Of Concurrent Users Across One Event To Date</strong></h3><p>Despite some of the challenges we faced with our servers across the globe (which is something we’ve got to work on amending right away), we experienced the highest amount of concurrent users in on M3TASPACES event to date, with users joining successfully again from all over the world.</p><p>This demonstrates the scalability and performance of Bloktopia’s platform, as well as the growing popularity and engagement from our community.</p><h3 id="strong-new-avatar-features-strong"><strong>New Avatar Features</strong></h3><p>Additionally, the event unveiled a range of enhanced avatar capabilities, including dynamic emotes that provide users with diverse means of self-expression. As an illustration, the party emote now allows avatars to perform a variety of dance moves, injecting an extra dose of enjoyment and engagement into the experience, as well as “idle time” motions when avatars are still.</p><p>We’ll be looking to add even more features like this into the emotes wheel moving forwards!</p><h3 id="strong-ask-a-question-feature-strong"><strong>‘Ask A Question’ Feature</strong></h3><p>Another new feature that was introduced during the event was the “Ask A Question” button, which allows users to submit questions to the speakers and moderators via their HUD. These improvements make it easier and more enjoyable for users to chat with each other and with the hosts during events.</p><h3 id="a-burn-is-coming">A Burn Is Coming!</h3><p>One of the most exciting announcements that was made during the event was the upcoming burn of 144,820,000 $BLOK tokens that have been acquired from REBLOK NFT landsale purchases.</p><p>This burn will further reduce the total supply of $BLOK tokens, increasing their scarcity and value.
