A diverse group of 12 individuals will play a pivotal role in determining the outcome of the case involving former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried.  
During the jury selection process, each potential juror had a moment to introduce themselves, sharing details about their backgrounds, ages, occupations, education, relationship status, and whether they have children.  
Notably, one prospective juror mentioned that his wife had worked for a law firm that had provided services to FTX in the past, although it remains unclear whether he was ultimately selected.  
Another prospective juror was excused from the selection process after disclosing her affiliation with a firm that had invested in FTX and Alameda Research, as reported by Matthew Russell Lee from Inner City Press.  
Following these initial interactions, District Court Judge Lewis A. Kaplan engaged in discussions about jury selection with both the prosecutors and Bankman-Fried's defense lawyers. Approximately 15 minutes later, Judge Kaplan revealed the final 12 members of the jury.  
As of October 4, reports from Bloomberg and TechCrunch indicate that the jury panel will be predominantly female, consisting of nine women and three men.  
The jurors' ages range from the early 30s to the late 60s, and they represent various professional fields, including healthcare, finance, law, information technology, and education.  
Notably, five of them hold university degrees, reflecting a broad spectrum of backgrounds and experiences among the jurors.
