Stage 1 Mainnet will launch shortly after the contracts are ready, so stay tuned for more updates!</p><h3 id="growing-safestake">Growing Safestake</h3><p>As you are likely aware, we&#39;ve been running a successful public testnet for over half a year, and we&#39;ve learned that building a strong community of professional operators is vital to our success.</p><h3 id="future-collaboration-with-lido">Future Collaboration with Lido</h3><p>The team is excited to announce that we are in discussions with the Lido NOM to establish a formal cooperative testing relationship. Integrating SafeStake&#39;s DV network and advanced DKG (Distributed Key Generation) with Lido’s Staking Router would add a second layer of permissionless decentralization to their node operations and validator base, mitigating the potential risks they pose to the Ethereum blockchain. Subsequently, our current focus is on attracting more testers from the Lido DAO and building a solid reputation with them.</p><h3 id="incentives-for-professional-operators">Incentives for Professional Operators</h3><p>To achieve these objectives and entice more users to join SafeStake as we head toward mainnet launch, the team proposed establishing new incentive pools for both Lido and non-Lido operators.</p><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/f8637e2ead3b4a56a823401eefbb1364.jpg" /><p>As a result of your support, the <a href="https://vote.safestake.xyz/#/proposal/0xfaf68413f8d49576942bc2c75f3864e103ea6d5a92658af9ab0f851b2f515c9c" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">governance proposal</a> successfully PASSED with an overwhelming 99.97% of votes in agreement. Thank you to everyone who participated in the voting process. Your voice has been heard!</p><p>The approval of this incentive program is an exciting step toward securing more professional operators to join us as we transition from Galileo testnet to Ethereum mainnet.</p><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/df941cfe939f4ef1bcfa1bfb7d9e96ec.jpg" /><p>As a result, the original Stage 1 Rewards Program ended on September 20, 2023. A <a href="https://parastate-safestake-community.notion.site/SafeStake-Galileo-Stage-1-Testnet-Rewards-Program-ended-09-20-23-d9fa15ea1a1a4ea5be62b3c80f02f0e5?pvs&#61;4" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">list of reward earners</a> has been prepared, and $DVT rewards will be transferred to wallets soon!</p><p>We appreciate everyone who participated in the initial Stage 1 Testnet Rewards Program, and we are already underway with the new incentive program, which includes a total of<strong> 3.6M in $DVT</strong>,  as of September 25, 2023.</p><h2 id="header-3">Deadline for Unstaking $STATE Has Passed! EXTENSIONS in Effect for Claiming and Converting STATE Tokens!</h2><h3 id="unstaking-website-decommissioned">Unstaking Website Decommissioned</h3><p>The website for staking $STATE tokens (https://staking.parastate.io) was decommissioned at the end of September.</p><h3 id="claim-portal-deadline-extension">Claim Portal Deadline Extension</h3><p>It seems there are still a significant number of unclaimed STATE tokens on</p><p>https://claim.parastate.io/</p><p>As previously announced, the deadline to claim $STATE tokens from the initial Republic rounds has been extended until the end of this year (December 31, 2023).
