The biggest thing on the horizon, undoubtedly, is the plan to deploy the protocol to L2(s) soon.DAO Proposals for September<ul><li>No proposals were created in the month</li></ul>Wen L2(s)?<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:549/0*Dht7MIErTA78m3yE" />Throughout the testnet period for v2, a common question that the team was asked about was ‘Wen L2?’ A large part of this was due to the fact that a user on mainnet will have to pay gas fees that are denominated in ETH and the overall cost to do business on ETH L1 is substantially higher than on an L2. The team understood this call, but to focus on getting the dApp out and functioning, the L2 push was prioritized for post-testing and mainnet release. Given the launch of v2, full focus from our friends at Decent DAO has gone into two areas to help minimize friction for user experience. The first is prepping to launch on Polygon and the second is how to minimize and simplify the process of creating a sarcophagus for ease of use.Currently, the technical requirements for the nodes are the biggest hurdle to jump to make sure that they can roll up and catch/safeguard sarcophagi on Polygon. Additionally, the deployment of smart contracts and enabling liquidity via a wrapped token are the other areas that need to be performed to start testing. From our last update with our development team, we are not that far away.
