<h2 id="header-0">What is new, and what can you expect to see?</h2><p>On Thursday 28th September 2023, Bloktopia will launch its third public test of the virtual event space M3TASPACES.</p><p>As documented in our <a href="https://medium.com/&#64;bloktopia/bloktopia-developer-diaries-23-bfbb4f9ba9ae" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Developer Diaries</a>, one clear challenge that arose from the last test was users queueing to get in. We have now doubled the limit and expect 500&#43; users to attend our next event. The plan has always been that as we continue to add more features into M3TASPACES and further improvements are made to optimise the environment, we’ll be scheduling in more and more tests with more things for users to do and see.</p><h2 id="header-1">What do I need?</h2><ol><li>The <a href="https://www.bloktopia.com/play/m3tapass" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">M3TAPASS</a> app on your mobile phone</li><li>A desktop computer</li><li>A good broadband connection</li></ol><p>Once we share the URL to the event, you will need to use your mobile device to scan in and join.</p><h2 id="header-2"><strong>What can I expect?</strong></h2><p>This is a more stable build. It should allow more concurrent users in, without compromising on quality or creating any lag.</p><p>There is a slicker Heads Up Display (HUD) with more guidance to help navigation. And we’ve really worked on the audio, to try and prompt users to ensure their browser isn’t muted by default, so that everyone can voice chat.</p><p>Visually it should also look a lot sharper. We want to test Vagon, which is the cloud computer and application streaming service that we use.
