Stuart Alderoty inflated the agitation regarding the cryptocurrency testimony by the SEC Chairman. Gary stated in the testimony that the crypto assets are primarily regarded as securities. Alderoty refuted this and accused him of intending to lie to Congress. He disapproves of Gary’s assertion regarding cryptocurrency. 
The view of Gary regarding cryptocurrency is not supported by Stuart. He does not support the views stated in the testimony. His favoritism regarding cryptocurrency as a security is not at all accepted by the top lawyer of Ripple. 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-what-is-the-testimony-of-gary-stated-strong">What is the Testimony of Gary Stated?</h2> 
Gary suggests a firm stance on most of the cryptocurrencies meeting the investment contract, the criteria set by the security law. The protection afforded by securities laws is equally applicable to the investors and the issuers. This implies comprehensive compliance with these laws by crypto intermediaries. 
The <a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/2023/09/30/decoding-phishing-attempts-and-securing-crypto-assets-from-them/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">SEC Chairman</a> has raised his concerns at the level of misconduct he has witnessed in the crypto field describing it as daunting. There were rumors of internal disagreements within the agency regarding the rulemaking of the digital assets. 
However, Gensler avoided commenting on the active charges focusing on the applicability of existing rules and proposals to increase the safeguarding in trading platforms and investment advisory dealing with crypto assets. 
As per Gensler’s testimony, predictive data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) have brought transformational driving efficiencies across the economy. This strength of the technology will tend to enhance the user experience but also pose the risk of exploitation. 
This will lead to conflicts for example the adviser or dealers are optimizing to place their interest ahead of the investor’s interest. The SEC proposal in July 2023 requires firms to analyze the conflicts of interest arising from the use of predictive data analytics to interact with investors. The potential conflict would need to be eliminated or neutralized by the firms concerned. 
Besides, the securities laws on crypto assets the Chairman does not comment on any individual token. Alderoty has been a critic of Gensler’s view because he finds that he has an understanding of the cryptocurrency industry.&nbsp; 
He previously accused Gensler of not fully understanding the law about the statements made before the U.S. Senate Banking Committee regarding the criteria used by the Supreme Court to determine whether a token is an unregistered security. 
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-summary-strong">Summary</h3> 
Stuart Alderoty raised his perturbation regarding the Gensler crypto testimony which states most of the cryptocurrency as securities which is not acceptable and the lawyer accused the Chairman as a liar to the congress. However, Gary has a strong stand for crypto as a security.
