Amazon is accused of using its dominant position to penalize these sellers by pushing them further down in its search results, effectively rendering them invisible to shoppers. This tactic coerces sellers into maintaining higher prices on other platforms, ultimately leading to increased costs for consumers across the internet.</p><p>The lawsuit also takes issue with Amazon’s requirement that sellers utilize its costly fulfillment services to qualify for the coveted “Prime” badge on their products.
