<p>British American Tobacco Plc (LSE: BATS) stock price slumped nearly 3.38% in Intraday on Monday and closed near the 50-day EMA at £26.11. The BATS share price did not show any major changes in price in the last week. The stock maintained at the top of the ongoing trend and closed the week with a gain of less than 1%.<br><br>However, the BATS share price saw a sharp decline of 3.38% on Monday’s session thus, starting the week in the red. The British American Tobacco company is yet to deliver dividends this week on Thursday. The ex-dividend date for the BATS share price is 28th September and the payment date is Friday, 3rd November.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The daily BATS price chart shows that the price might try to recover the Monday’s session fall in the upcoming sessions. The stock has been continuously recovering since mid-August when the price fell below the&nbsp; £25.5 level.</p>
