Some contributors attribute the lackluster price action to the stalled development of Shibarium, SHIB’s planned Layer 2 scaling solution. While speculation and hype can produce short-term rallies, long-term success depends on providing real utility. Without technical innovation or clear real-world use cases, SHIB risks fading into irrelevance during crypto winter. 
With SHIB’s price chart flashing warning signs and development stalled, investors should be cautious before buying into the rallying cries of perma-bulls. Meme hype can only take a token so far before fundamentals matter. SHIB may continue to underperform until the team delivers tangible innovations. The meme magic appears to be wearing thin.
