Let’s dive into the time spent with Justin, where he candidly discussed the big and small questions that holders in the community had been curious about.<blockquote>Q1.When I look at your previous career, it might seem like a somewhat challenging choice to opt for NvirWorld. If you have three main reasons for choosing NvirWorld, what are they?</blockquote>A1. The decision to join NvirWorld was certainly not made without its challenges, but several compelling reasons motivated my choice:Well-defined Mission Statement: NvirWorld’s commitment to becoming the next-generation blockchain company highly resonates with my personal beliefs. As an avid blockchain enthusiast, I was actively expanding my knowledge on blockchain technological advancement outside of work hours at my previous job. Even though I was exposed to blockchain company coverage at Bank of America, the risk appetite of traditional financial institutions to onboard blockchain companies decreased substantially after the downfall of previously reputable digital assets firms like FTX and Three Arrows Capital. Yet, Web3 dev activities remain active despite the bear market. To me, transiting to Web3 was a no brainer since it was the best time to build groundbreaking products in the Web3 realm. When NvirWorld reached out, I was convinced about the company’s strong purpose in creating a sustainable future with its community.In addition, NvirWorld’s deep expertise in gaming further compelled me to take up the role since Web3 gaming is the strong use case I have observed for blockchain practical application.Strong Development Team: To me, building a core flagship product defines a company, especially in the blockchain industry. Compared to other smaller blockchain companies that have been commanding sky-high valuation despite having a small team, NvirWorld houses a strong development team of 50&#43; experienced individuals that herald from reputable technology companies like Nexon and Kakao Games with a specialty in blockchain development. Aside from technical skills, NvirWorld’s team culture is highly inclusive, collaborative, and supportive, fostering a sense of belonging among team members. I am confident that NvirWorld will continue to build groundbreaking products that have a strong impact in blockchain advancement.Global Expansion: Since its onset, NvirWorld set out to be a global web3 blockchain company. Compared to many Web2 companies that tend to focus on their key local market, NvirWorld has been expanding its branding globally to onboard worldwide users. As a former investment banker who has assisted many web2 and web3 projects, I felt that some companies were relatively parochial in their global expansion and were afraid of stepping out of their comfort zone. I am certain that NvirWorld’s global mindset will onboard the next wave of Web3 users as we work towards the goal of mass adoption in the industry.In summary, NvirWorld stood out to me as the ideal workplace because its mission aligns with my values alongside its strong development team and global mindset. These reasons combined made the decision to join NvirWorld both challenging and rewarding, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to the company’s mission and my own personal growth here.<blockquote>Q2.How will your experience as an investment banker at Bank of America be leveraged at NvirWorld?</blockquote>A2. I was working at Bank of America investment banking covering financial institutions ranging from insurance companies to fintech and blockchain startups. During my investment banking stint when I was working on M&amp;A and capital fundraising projects, I was exposed to a ton of interesting business models and strategies that are somewhat applicable to Web3. Even though Web3 has been gradually maturing, monetization and user acquisition are still deeply ingrained problems that many web3 projects are facing. With my expertise, I am committed to help NvirWorld discover more user acquisition channels and monetization routes for sustainable development and this will all start from our staking protocol and NWS.At a later stage, I believe that inorganic growth might aid our company in achieving strong growth. I have been looking at potential strategic partnerships and acquisitions for our long term plan to become a global company that houses the most comprehensive blockchain ecosystem.In addition, with my years of experience in the Web3 venture building community, I hope to utilize my network and venture building expertise to help NvirWorld design an ecosystem supported by reputable partners to serve our users. We have been in talks with several reputable VCs and gaming studios during Korea Blockchain Week and Singapore Token2049 to potentially launch an incubator to nurture nascent web3 games that could be onboarded on NWS 2.0.<blockquote>Q3.The newly released whitepaper feels like a teaser for the new NvirWorld, and many people are eagerly curious about it. What are the key points that NvirWorld is focusing on as it undergoes these changes, and when can we expect the official whitepaper to be released?</blockquote>A3. The key priority in NvirWorld’s transformation will pivot on both product development and strategic partnerships. Given that the NvirWorld development team houses individuals from gaming backgrounds, we are well-equipped with game design and distribution understanding. Our gaming department has reached the final stages of testing gameplay for several major games, and we expect them to launch sequentially starting in Q4 2023. In addition, we will be finalizing our NWS technology architecture as we aim to kickstart the product development phase at the start of October (#Keepbuilding). With regards to strategic partnerships, we have been speaking to wallet gaming infrastructure companies like Openfort, gaming studios, and Web3/esports marketing agencies as we believe that building a comprehensive distribution platform requires the integration of other peers.As we look to finalize our technology architecture and strategic partnerships for NWS, we expect to release the full whitepaper at the end of next month.<blockquote>Q4.Can NvirWorld truly emerge as the winner in the competitive jungle of gaming, where numerous competitors thrive?When we talk about the “game ecosystem,” it raises doubts about whether NvirWorld can succeed amidst the competition from similar projects. We need a clear and decisive response from the CEO to break this bias! What are the advantages and differentiators of NWS (Nvir Web3 Studio), which is at the core of the NEW NvirWorld ecosystem?</blockquote>A4. As mentioned during the AMA, there are not many gaming distribution platforms with such a comprehensive vision and with an intention to lower the barrier of entries for the masses. Indeed, distribution platforms like Fractal and Merit Circle have been gaining strong traction in the US and Europe. Yet, there are not many monetization features for Web3 gaming studios and gamers. At NvirWorld, we believe that a distribution platform should prioritize onboarded game titles and gamers. For instance, as soon as a gaming studio launches a title on NWS, they will receive a free dev NFT that can be fractionalized such that fans of a game can co-own the game and participate in co-revenue sharing with the gaming studio. This provides a monetization opportunity for developers and creators and co-ownership for fans and users, a revenue model that is hardly even seen in our current web2 gaming landscape.Indeed, the downside of NWS is that we are still at a very nascent stage compared to peers that have launched live or beta products. Yet, we believe that our additional features will set us apart from our competitors given the increasing emphasis on prioritizing content creators (in this case, the game developers) and end-users.<blockquote>Q5.In the whitepaper, NWS Studio is introduced as a single integrated gaming platform. In the future, will NvirWorld primarily focus on the gaming business, or do you have a specific ultimate goal in mind?</blockquote>A5. While our gaming business is indeed a major focus, we are not solely fixated on games. The reason we are emphasizing the gaming business as our main focus in the new NvirWorld is twofold. Firstly, because the main trend in the upcoming bull market is highly likely to be web3 games, and we aim to lead the market. Secondly, it’s because gaming is what we excel at. However, our ultimate goal and core principle of building a user-centric ecosystem remain unchanged. To achieve this, various services for users such as staking and NFTs will be integrated into NWS with the gaming business at its core. Through NWS, we aim to make blockchain more accessible to the public, becoming a leading platform for this endeavor.<blockquote>Q6.Many people are curious about the projects that were previously underway in light of the transformed NvirWorld. Could you provide some insights on this?</blockquote>A6. The new look of NvirWorld, adapted to align with the trends and currents of the market, may feel unfamiliar and potentially confusing to many holders. However, I have full confidence that all these changes are necessary for NvirWorld to progress towards a better future.Furthermore, while some of the plans made before my joining have undergone changes, many elements will be retained and will be unveiled soon.In other words, it’s not about the disappearance of existing elements; those worth preserving will indeed be maintained. Over time, what might have been the best choice at the time but no longer serves that purpose will be boldly transformed into something better. One thing I can confidently state is that NvirWorld will succeed, and we are committed to making the best and wisest choices for its success. Given my background in the financial industry, the judgment of whether something will work or not is very clear to me. If I didn’t have confidence that NvirWorld would succeed, I wouldn’t have joined. Ultimately, NvirWorld possesses the spirit of persevering without giving up and continually moving forward until ultimate success. With myself, Jason, and competent partners in the blockchain space and venture capitalists joining, it will unquestionably be realized and become a reality.PS. We haven’t forgotten about NWX.<blockquote>Q7.Recently, you signed into an official partnership with Certik. What benefits does NvirWorld hope to gain from this partnership, and how do you envision the future development of this relationship? Additionally, do you have plans for further partnership expansions?</blockquote>A7.NvirWorld’s partnership with CERTIK will witness the optimization of advanced blockchain security technology to construct a Web 3 ecosystem that users can have increased trust. Even as blockchain continues to evolve, many reputable firms and web3 projects are constantly susceptible to hacking or attacks by bad actors. It is imperative that we focus on ensuring security and safety. Furthermore, this partnership holds the potential to bring even greater synergy to NvirWorld, not only by enhancing technology, services, and ecosystem security through CERTIK but also by forming diverse networks through their collaboration.In addition, NvirWorld has been in talks with several L1 and L2 blockchain as we seek to house fully on-chain games in our new roadmap. Aside from infrastructure, we are also actively discussing with leading Web3 game studios to enhance our game distribution capabilities once NWS 2.0 is launched.<blockquote>Q8.You mentioned VC during the AMA. Could you please provide an update on the current status?</blockquote>A8. In the last bull market, many venture capital funds (be it Web2 or Web3) have been investing in infrastructure projects or blockchain protocols. However, these projects tend to command astronomical valuations that have resulted in investment losses for both primary and secondary investors once the native tokens are listed. Many VCs are turning their attention to other use cases like Web3 gaming and we are largely bullish that blockchain gaming exhibits the most practical use case for blockchain technology ranging from infrastructure to payments. We are in talks with several VCs for potential collaboration to incubate smaller game studios and gaming-infra related projects (more information will be provided)In the long term, our team aims to establish an incubator in collaboration with more VC firms, L0, L1, L2 blockchain, and game infrastructure teams through our own technical expertise. This initiative is intended to foster the birth of new games and advance the web3 gaming ecosystem. We’ve recently met with numerous projects and VCs at events like KBW and Token2049, and just this week, we entered into a partnership with Project Chain, one of the well-known L1 blockchains. NvirWorld will become their first gaming project on their chain, and more details will be announced within the next two weeks.Simultaneously, to expand the gaming ecosystem, our team is in negotiations with leading game marketing agencies in the Asia-Pacific region for potential collaboration opportunities.<blockquote>Q9.NvirWorld garnered significant interest as a mainnet project at the time of its launch, and many holders are still interested today. Are there any updates or changes in this regard?</blockquote>A9. Mainnet development is proceeding without any disruptions; however, our primary focus currently lies on ecosystem building and activation. Ethereum is a remarkable project, but not every mainnet project achieves the same level of activation. There are many L1 and L2 projects in existence, and among them, some possess high potential. Nevertheless, the vast majority of these projects are continuously putting in considerable effort to launch their mainnets and drive activation.In short, the launch of the mainnet does not mark the end of the journey, and having a mainnet does not guarantee automatic success. We are facing this reality and making the best choices at every moment to bring NvirWorld closer to success.The current focus for NvirWorld is not solely on a rapid mainnet launch. Instead, the key lies in how effectively we can activate it and drive its growth after the launch. We remain unwavering in our commitment to our goals and core principles, staying focused as we move forward. Our ultimate destination is the success of NvirWorld.<blockquote>Q10.If there is one thing that is most important for NvirWorld’s success moving forward, what would it be?</blockquote>A10. In the near term, the key differentiator is to exhibit our gaming muscles by showcasing NvirWorld’s marquee games before we onboard other gaming studios on our distribution platform. In the longer term, we hope to engage with more VCs and strategic partners to incubate games via our technical expertise. To ensure that we are an end-to-end ecosystem, we will be deploying production capabilities to ensure the development of our backend infrastructure to maximize the utility of NVIR tokens.⭐️ Extra question 1) What is NvirWorld to Justin? “NvirWorld is a new challenge for me and a lifetime opportunity.” To me, NvirWorld is the next Web3 Steam that prioritizes asset ownership for users and monetization opportunities for gaming developers and gamers.
