Insights from Industry Titans: Navigating the Ever-Evolving Crypto Landscape 
In a dynamic virtual roundtable hosted by Cointelegraph on Twitter Spaces, prominent figures from the world of cryptocurrency trading converged to dissect the present challenges and future trends in the crypto trading sphere. This illustrious gathering comprised key representatives from some of the largest centralized exchanges (CEXs) globally, including Bybit, CEX.IO, and Huobi. The discussion also featured Maksim Hramadtsou, the co-founder of GoodCrypto, an innovative all-in-one trading and portfolio management application, and a member of the esteemed Cointelegraph Accelerator program. 
The resounding consensus among the speakers was that the crypto industry’s current tribulations are a reflection of the intricate regulatory landscape, especially in regions like the United States. These challenges are further exacerbated by a diminishing user trust stemming from events like the FTX debacle, liquidity constraints, and the enduring repercussions of a prolonged bear market. To steer through these uncertain waters, the experts shared their strategies and insights. 
Becky Sarwate, the head of communications at CEX.IO, took a forward-looking stance, viewing increased regulation as a catalyst rather than a hindrance to global crypto adoption. She stressed the significance of educating users, not merely on how to utilize CEX platforms but also on the fundamental aspects of cryptocurrencies. To accomplish this, Sarwate advocated for simplifying complex technical jargon and elucidating the practical possibilities within the crypto space. CEX.IO has taken proactive steps in this direction, offering educational resources within their platform to foster user understanding and promote their core values. 
Edward Chen, the general manager of the Asset and Commercial Center at Huobi, noted the scarcity of use cases within the application layer of the crypto ecosystem. While infrastructure garners much attention, the application layer remains underdeveloped. Huobi aims to bridge this gap by supporting trading demand through innovative solutions like crypto and fiat off-ramps. Their strategies include strategic partnerships with traditional finance (TradFi) entities, a robust research team to forecast market trends, and risk management tools for users. 
Bybit, on the other hand, distinguishes itself through its agility and adaptability. Anndy Lian, an advisor to Bybit, cited their recent successful collaboration with Oracle Red Bull Racing. This venture into the NFT space, despite challenging market conditions, underscores Bybit’s commitment to innovation and customer support. Lian emphasized the importance of anticipating regulatory changes, fostering partnerships with key stakeholders, and consistently delivering top-notch service, including artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. 
Maksim Hramadtsou of GoodCrypto noted a shift in trader preferences toward decentralized exchanges (DEXs), driven not only by recent events but also liquidity concerns. GoodCrypto responds by offering support for over 35 exchanges and providing tools commonly used by traders, including trading stops, dollar-cost averaging (DCA), grid trading bots, and webhook-activated orders. This flexibility allows traders to seamlessly navigate multiple platforms, a practice increasingly prevalent in the market. 
Regarding future trends, Sarwate highlighted the growing convergence of traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi), a trend that is expected to persist. Hramadtsou predicted the rise of DEXs built on layer 2 scaling solutions. Lian expressed hope for the tokenization of diverse assets such as securities, commodities, derivatives, and equities, envisioning these developments as a means to attract traditional players into the crypto arena and usher in new heights of competitiveness and product diversity.
