<p>Last week was a big one for all Metarush fans with the game’s second closed gameplay demo! This exclusive gameplay showcase welcomed members of the Myria community, influencers, ecosystem partners, and delegates from various Web3 projects.</p><h2 id="header-0">What is Metarush?</h2><p>Metarush represents a groundbreaking milestone as the first project from Myria’s in-house game development studio, Myria Studios. Best described as an obstacle-platformer battle royale game, Metarush is where player skill reigns supreme. There’s a single goal in Metarush, to get to the finish line. During every race, players can utilize various power-ups and their basic skills to get the edge over other racers.</p><h2 id="header-1">The Second Metarush Demo</h2><p>Following rigorous quality assurance testing, including comprehensive company-wide evaluations, Metarush made its first gameplay debut on March 9th and 10th, presented as an early alpha stage demo. Last week (September 6–8) marked the second Metarush demo, giving players from different regions a glimpse of the many visual and gameplay updates the title has received.</p><p>All players attending the event had the opportunity to experience some of the newest levels that the team has been working on, firsthand.</p><p><img src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/800/0*WaqQpHvW_oNU63tr" /><em>Some of the new levels showcased during the second Metarush demo.</em></p><p>A total of five new levels were revealed during the demo — Data Maze, Laser Gates, Jellyfish Land, Jellyfish Land Mirror, and Nebula. Expect even more details about the new levels in the weeks to come!</p><p>Based on the feedback left from the participants in the second gameplay demo, the most beloved features turned out to be:</p><ul><li>Smash</li><li>Metamorph</li></ul><p><strong>Smash </strong>is a basic ability available to everyone, allowing players to push other players to their doom! <strong>Metamorph</strong>, on the other hand, is one of the power-ups available in Metarush. Once activated, it transforms the player character into an alien creature that rapidly inflates, knocking aside all surrounding players.</p><h2 id="header-2">The Participants</h2><p>Much like the first event, only a number of players were able to participate. Among them, you could find Myria community members, ecosystem partners, influencers, and the Metarush Obstacle Contest winner <a href="https://twitter.com/1_LLAMA_1" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Llama</a>. Other notable participants include members of <a href="https://twitter.com/aephia" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Aephia</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/DynamicCryptoG" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Dynamic Crypto Gaming</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/realdealguild" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Real Deal Guild</a>, as well as <a href="https://www.twitch.tv/rizacan" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Rizacan</a>, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/seyrahxx/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Seyrah</a>, and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/alyagustinn/?hl&#61;en" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Aly Agustin</a>.</p><p>A piece of the upcoming action was revealed with the <a href="https://twitter.com/PlayMetarush/status/1699866685170414009" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Metarush teaser trailer</a>.
