<p>Global crypto payment company Ripple, in a <a href="https://ripple.com/insights/supporting-the-next-generation-of-european-blockchain-and-crypto-leaders-with-ubri/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">recent announcement</a>, said it has expanded its University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) to four new universities in Europe. The company said the expansion will support crypto research in these regions.</p> 
<p>In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Sendi Young, Ripple’s managing director in Europe, shed more light on the expansion. Per the post, the new partners were Trinity College Dublin, EPITA in France, IE University in Spain, and the University of Trento in Italy.</p>
