Stark further speculates that Binance is unlikely to challenge the SEC’s sealing action, possibly due to concerns that incriminating information or serious criminal claims against the exchange may be made public. The SEC’s activities are unusual, which complicates the situation and makes forecasting the final decision difficult. If Binance challenges the SEC’s request for sealing, it may indicate that the move is related to the SEC’s desire to protect the anonymity of a witness.
