We value your loyalty and passion for our project, and we will be sharing as much information as we can about 1 specific feature — hopefully at the end of each week!We will continue to work in an agile manner, and will be adapting and optimising our roadmap continuously. That is the nature of building a metaverse. Some things we share here might not ever come to fruition, but our goal will be to set clear expectations and communicate with you all about the upcoming roadmap and priorities.This weekly Developer Diary update follows on from edition <a href="https://medium.com/&#64;bloktopia/bloktopia-developer-diaries-18-62124265d8e9" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">#18</a> and continues to focus some exciting redesigns and an updated vision on the look of the Bloktopia Metaverse.In this edition, we’re diving into the exciting world of the Bloktopia virtual HQ redesign. Our focus has been on giving the flagship Bloktopia store a fresh new look that’s not only captivating, but also sets a benchmark for the hundreds of other virtual spaces within Bloktopia. We’re on a mission to showcase the full extent of what we can offer, allowing brands to envision their unique headquarters in vivid detail. Through this redesign, we’re creating a visual and experiential playground that helps brands craft the perfect look and feel for their spaces.We’re taking a practical approach to create a more engaging and versatile experience. Our goal is to make the virtual HQs more than just a place to shop — we want it to be a space that offers various ways for visitors to enjoy their time and engage with all Bloktopia’s partners have to offer.To make this happen, we’ve been rethinking how we organise different sections of the virtual spaces. We’ve also been working on seamlessly blending the spaces appearance with its usability. By striking this balance, we’re shaping an environment that caters to different needs and interactions, making it a spot where people can do more than just buy things.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/17194364956f4a519d395794e3317214.png" />Virtual HQ entrance conceptStarting off, our main focus was to make the entrance a captivating experience. If you’re setting aside time to visit one of our partners virtual headquarters, you’ll want to see what that company is all about and what they’re offering. One of the first things you’ll be able to interact with is a range of signature products, where you can view merchandise for your avatar, amongst other things.We’re also considering various solutions for companies with software-focused offerings rather than physical products, as we recognise that a one-size-fits-all strategy won’t cut it due to the diverse range of offerings within Bloktopia. One of the many design challenges we’re having to overcome along the way! While that idea may be way down the roadmap, it’s a sign of how we’re striving to create a space that’s both unique and engaging, where the unexpected might just become a reality in Bloktopia.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/53d5081a90604044910f25cefef43c8a.png" /><h3 id="what-features-will-be-inside-the-virtual-headquarters">What features will be inside the Virtual Headquarters?</h3>We’re seamlessly integrating various interaction points into the HQs to ensure the experience within them is immersive. Visitors will have the chance to explore an exhibition-style gallery to dive into NFTs. Alongside these, we’re creating social zones where you can catch up on conversations and interact with Bloktopian’s all around the globe. We’re even installing secure ATMs for fund management — all in the same dynamic space. Finally, our revamped mini presentation areas will host talks and shows on a more personal level than what you’d experience in M3TASPACES.We’re weaving together these interactions to create an engaging and versatile environment where there’s something exciting for everyone!These initial concept images embody the guiding vision we’re pursuing, and they’re already steering the direction of what you’ll encounter and engage with in both our stores and other spaces within Bloktopia. You can see in the examples below how we’ve also started to iterate on things such as the stage and different types of foliage.
