<p>After a scaling issue, Shiba Inu’s <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/glossary/layer-2/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Layer 2</a> network Shibarium, is back live and fully operating. The long-expected statement from Shiba Inu developer Shytoshi Kusama reassured users that all monies are secure and the network is ready for prime time.</p><h2 id="header-0">Shibarium Thrives with 65,000 Wallets and 350,000 Transactions</h2><p>Kusama said Shibarium had over 350,000 transactions and 65,000 wallets before its release. All user assets were secure throughout the suspension, and they may now be accessed.</p><p>The reopening of Shibarium proved difficult. After Shibarium launched on the mainnet on August 16, several assets got trapped in the bridge. Last week, consumers regained access to their funds. Kusama said $LEASH, $SHIB and $WETH took 45 minutes to three hours to withdraw, but $BONE took one to seven days. The good news is that bridge withdrawals work now.</p><p>Shibarium already has over 65,000 wallets and 350,000 transactions, demonstrating its crypto appeal. The network has used a variety of tokens, including unusual ones, with other systems. The Shibarium team will assess the network’s hundreds of tokens to find the most valuable.</p><p>The Shiba Inu <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/glossary/memecoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">meme currency</a> developers’ Layer 2 blockchain, Shibarium, has drawn attention for its innovative token transfer to the <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/ethereum/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ethereum</a> method. Reopening the Shibarium bridge for asset withdrawals is a turning point for <a href="https://www.shibatoken.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Shiba Inu</a>.</p><h2 id="header-1">Shibarium Restores Access to Major Assets</h2><p>The suspension of Shibarium’s mainnet and bridge was first ascribed to scale concerns caused by an extraordinary rise in transaction requests after its August 16 debut. However, the development team guaranteed users that their assets would be fully recovered when the mainnet returned.</p><p>Shibarium consumers worried about the suspension, which prevented them from withdrawing assets for days. Restoring regular operation has eased these worries and revitalized the Shibarium environment.</p><p>According to the official release, customers can withdraw ether, SHIB, Leash, and wrapped ether today with processing timeframes of 45 minutes to four hours. A week is expected to be needed to withdraw the network’s native Bone token due to its restrictions.</p>
