The license allows the company to offer institutional staking, collateral management, and custody services via its Komainu Connect platform. Komainu is among the first firms to receive a full VASP license in Dubai, a growing region for crypto. VARA established a four-stage licensing process in March 2022 to provide a regulatory framework for digital assets. Komainu is planning to double its Dubai headcount by the end of the year.</p>
