<p>Former FTX CEO Sam “SBF” Bankman-Fried has been granted a seven-hour release from jail by a federal judge overseeing his criminal case, in order to meet with his legal team. The meeting will take place in the cell block attorney room at the courthouse on 22 August and SBF will be allowed access to a laptop and a WiFi device. SBF’s bail was revoked on 11 August and he was sent to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he is likely to remain until the conclusion of his trials.</p>
