Cardano Visionary Charles Hoskinson Explores the Unknown, Aids Harvard Astronomer Avi Loeb in the Search for Extraterrestrial Artifacts 
Renowned astronomer Avi Loeb, from Harvard University, has enlisted the expertise of Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson in a groundbreaking expedition to unravel the mysteries of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and unearth strange celestial remnants. Hoskinson is currently leading the quest to uncover an otherworldly entity that crash-landed near Papua New Guinea’s Pacific coast. 
This ambitious undertaking, known as the Galileo Project, received a generous $1.5 million grant from Hoskinson in March, providing the necessary resources to propel the investigation forward. Guided by Avi Loeb and his protégé, Amir Siraj, the Galileo team initially discovered a “meteor of interstellar origin” that collided with Earth in 2014, a fact corroborated by the United States Department of Defense. Encouraged by this finding, the team now scours the region where the crash occurred, hopeful of recovering remnants of this extraordinary extraterrestrial visitor. 
In a recent tweet on June 16, Hoskinson excitedly revealed his participation in the expedition and shared the team’s discovery of peculiar wire fragments that might be linked to the crash. With much ground still to explore, he hinted at the utilization of advanced techniques, like the sluice sled, to unearth further evidence. 
Avi Loeb, on his blog, expressed his satisfaction with the expedition’s progress, highlighting the anomaly of a manganese-platinum wire displaying unique chemical properties unlike any commercially available product. Nonetheless, caution prevails, and Loeb refrains from jumping to conclusions about the origins of these fragments, despite his hope that they may prove to be remnants from a technologically advanced civilization in our cosmic neighborhood. 
This foray into the unknown represents another instance of Hoskinson’s penchant for supporting intriguing and innovative ventures. Previously, in March 2022, he actively participated in a funding round, securing $75 million for Colossal, a pioneering bioscience startup in Texas striving to resurrect extinct species, such as woolly mammoths.
