<p>On August 14, Binance <a href="https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/67474542/95/securities-and-exchange-commission-v-binance-holdings-limited/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">filed a motion</a> for a protective order, hitting back at the SEC’s deposition notices and discovery requests. The exchange expressed its frustration over what it called a “fishing expedition” by the regulator.</p>
