<p>Switching it up from monthly, Myria’s Quarterly Recap is here to bring you up to speed with the most important events in the Myria ecosystem. Following the <a href="https://medium.com/myria-official/the-myria-token-is-live-c8dd92b876cc" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">launch of the MYRIA token</a>, the start of the <a href="https://medium.com/myria-official/the-myria-public-node-sale-is-now-live-3c1a5027011" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Public Node Sale</a>, and the <a href="https://twitter.com/Myria/status/1646130322399199232" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Myria node activation</a> in April, development continued in the months that followed. Let’s take a look at what happened in May, June, and July.</p><h2 id="header-0">Game Updates</h2><p><img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:700/1*KJt3EBeLvjvBJ0BNE4Og5A.jpeg" /></p><h3 id="metarush">Metarush</h3><p>In May, Metarush made all necessary preparations to enter the pre-production stage. By popular demand from the community, the team started developing a new gameplay mechanic to allow more character interaction. In addition, character controls and animations are being reworked to be more responsive and match the community feedback we received during the closed demo. New visuals were added to the collection and shared on the Metarush social channels. Three new levels began development — Laser Gate, Battery Station &amp; Jellyfish Land.</p><p>In June, work on the new levels continued with various bug fixes on Laser Gate, Jellyfish Land &amp; Data Maze (a brand-new level). Another new level called Asteroid Climb was tested in terms of gameplay feel. The Metarush team also approved the new power-ups for the game’s first season. Character controls were reworked and the implementation of a male character model began.</p><p>July was a big month for Metarush with the official announcement of the <a href="https://medium.com/myria-official/prepare-for-more-metarush-apply-for-the-next-gameplay-demo-today-3b8f36d30838" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">second closed gameplay demo</a> that’s set to take place in September. Anyone can apply by submitting an application. The <a href="https://medium.com/myria-official/the-metarush-obstacle-contest-is-live-417c1f5f92fc" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Metarush Obstacle Contest</a> also went live, giving users a chance to leave their mark in Metarush history and have their obstacle ideas featured in future levels!</p><p>In the meantime, the dev team continued to work on the new levels and made big improvements to the existing user interface. The UI has been revamped both in-game and in the game menu section, with streamlined menus that ensure seamless interactions.</p><p><img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:700/1*Tl6ZOtm7R37g1qn-CgHciA.png" /></p><h3 id="moonville-farms">Moonville Farms</h3><p>In May and June, Moonville Farms received various technical updates and bug fixes. The dev team started expanding in order to implement new features and gradually add them to the game.</p><p>The big update that many users have been waiting for was announced on the final day of July. It included bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and new features. The in-game shop categories were revamped, restructuring old ones and adding new ones. The patch also added the Quick Build feature, allowing players to build the last selected structure from the shop. It’s easily accessible with the “Space” to quickly build after selecting an empty tile.</p><p><img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:700/1*5SFEHTLT8lN8IhkbUBXxlw.jpeg" /></p><h3 id="360-cricket">360 Cricket</h3><p>In May, the mobile arcade cricket game following the life of <a href="https://twitter.com/ABdeVilliers17" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">AB de Villiers</a> got closer to a closed Alpha prototype. The team continued to actively work to get basic KPIs for the game and validate the core gameplay mechanics. 360 Cricket’s roadmap also received an overhaul to accelerate the release of the title.</p><p>The pre-alpha was ready for release in June and the team began setting up a user acquisition campaign with all the needed accessories. This included a Google Play store page, Unity Tracking custom dashboards, and a Google Ads campaign. The initial target was to acquire at least 1000 installs in India. The dev team began the development of the resource management and shop systems while optimizing the roadmap for the upcoming release.</p><p>In July, the 360 Cricket pre-alpha officially went live!</p><p>After a week, the team had enough user input to analyze the KPI data. The next milestone in sight is the full Alpha version that’ll introduce the first iteration of PvP gameplay, the in-game shop, and Chapter 2 of the story. The release is estimated to arrive at the end of summer.</p><h2 id="header-1">Ecosystem Updates</h2><p><img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:700/0*STXSBuHPiF4EE0fQ" /></p><h3 id="dragonary-migrating-to-myria">Dragonary Migrating to Myria</h3><p>May marked the beginning of the official migration of Dragonary to the Myria Layer 2. All available Dragonary NFTs began the process of transferring to Myria. You can <a href="https://medium.com/myria-official/game-on-web3-insights-from-alejo-chababo-at-dragonary-now-migrating-to-myria-f9e7a52508f3" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">find more info about Dragonary and the team behind it on our blog</a>.</p><h3 id="the-myria-ambassador-program-expands">The Myria Ambassador Program Expands</h3><p>Passionate Myria community members had the opportunity to play a more active role in the Myria ecosystem with the release of the Myria Ambassador Program. These include:</p><ul><li><a href="https://twitter.com/thelostlandnft" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Open World: The Lost Land</a></li><li><a href="https://twitter.com/kryxivia" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Kryxivia Game</a></li><li><a href="https://twitter.com/RageOnWheels" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Rage On Wheels</a></li><li><a href="https://twitter.com/Dimenxion_io" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Dimenxion</a></li><li><a href="https://twitter.com/arcusgo8" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Arcus</a></li><li><a href="https://twitter.com/petobots/status/1669293935414370304" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Petobots</a></li><li><a href="https://twitter.com/LootMogul" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">LootMogul</a></li><li><a href="https://twitter.com/GladiatorsVerse" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">GladiatorsVerse</a></li></ul><p>All projects listed above officially became a part of the Myria ecosystem throughout the remainder of June and July.</p><h3 id="zone-9-survival-nfts-available-on-the-myria-marketplace">Zone 9 Survival NFTs available on the Myria Marketplace</h3><p>In the same month, <a href="https://twitter.com/Z9sOfficial" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Zone 9 Survival</a> released its NFT collection on the Myria Marketplace, giving users a chance to trade their weapons freely.</p><p>The Myria Marketplace empowers users with gas-free trading, allowing them to freely buy and sell NFTs.</p><p><img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:700/0*gPgj_1OtMERfwZG3" /></p><h3 id="the-myria-grants-program">The Myria Grants Program</h3><p>Finding funding in the world of Web3 can be challenging for many startups due to the decentralized nature of the blockchain. To empower projects of all sizes, Myria launched the <a href="https://medium.com/myria-official/make-your-web3-project-a-reality-with-the-myria-developer-grants-program-ab0fe0b8935d" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Myria Developer Grants Program</a> in July. The program is an initiative set to support developers through the development process and foster further growth of the Myria ecosystem.</p><p>All projects can freely apply for the Myria Grants Program and get up to $500,000 in MYRIA tokens. The amount received is based on milestones with more being gradually unlocked as projects advance through their roadmap. In addition to funding, all projects participating in the grants program will get access to direct support from the Myria team. This includes economy design, gameplay design, tokenomics, marketing support, token listing, and more. In June, the <a href="https://medium.com/myria-official/the-myria-sdk-just-got-better-ceaaefbeb523" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Myria SDK received a major overhaul</a>, making it more accessible to developers than ever before. In addition to improving upon existing features, the update introduced the Myria Developer Portal, an intuitive project management system. With the Portal, users can create and edit projects or collections, generate API keys, retrieve private keys and more.</p><h2 id="header-3">Node Updates</h2><h3 id="the-myria-node-referral-program">The Myria Node Referral Program</h3><p>Myria Nodes are an essential part of the Myria ecosystem, providing a layer of security and stability. To further reward existing node owners with MYRIA tokens and incentivize growth, <a href="https://medium.com/myria-official/introducing-the-myria-node-referral-program-dce1b2de653b" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Myria launched the Node Referral Program</a>!</p><p>The initiative is limited to users that already have a Myria Node License. All owners can now find a unique referral link on their Myria Node dashboard. Once shared with a friend that registers, deposits MYRIA, and purchases a Myria Node, the referrer will receive a corresponding amount of MYRIA tokens.
