The American multinational company Coca-Cola announced the launch of its first NFT collection, Masterpiece, as part of the industry giant embracing non-fungible tokens. The company introduced the NFT collection on <a href="https://coinedition.com/base-launch-sparks-excitement-with-over-160m-in-value-bridged-133k-holders/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Coinbase’s Layer 2 blockchain, Base</a>, in connection with its Onchain Summer event. 
According to the official <a href="https://onchainsummer.xyz/Coca-Cola" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">statement</a> released by the platform on August 13, the Masterpiece collection includes classic masterpieces like Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” and Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring.” The collection also incorporates the contemporary works of artists like Aket and Vikram Kushwah. The statement read:
