American conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway Inc (NYSE: BRK.A) will be dropping the quarterly earnings report on Saturday, August 5th, 2023. Berkshire Hathaway stock is already in an uptrend for the past couple of months and it’s already 1.35% up in the day prior to the earnings.&nbsp; 
The immediate up move in BRK stock price is likely to appear in the wake of chairperson Warren Buffet’s optimism on U.S. Treasuries. In an interview with CNBC, the OG investor affirmed the bullish take of Berkshire Hathaway toward U.S. securities and bonds.&nbsp; 
Recently Fitch Ratings, the capital market company and one of the “Big Three credit rating agencies,” shredded the credit rating of U.S. debt. The agency dropped the rating from AAA to AA+.&nbsp; 
For a while, the broader U.S. economy is under a significant burden of debt and it’s only increasing. This creates pressure on the country’s economy and results in less credit credibility. The rating agency’s downgrade showcases the same.&nbsp; 
However, the decline in rating did not move Berkshire Hathaway’s CEO’s trust. Buffet noted that his company purchased U.S. Treasuries worth $10 Billion every Monday. It included this week and the week prior to that. The company has plans to continue the Monday buying with the same amount for a 3 to 6-month time period.&nbsp; 
The positive approach towards the U.S. government debt made the company make continued investments and that is why it is among the biggest corporate holders in the world. By March end, the company had reportedly $104 Billion worth of investments in the U.S. Treasuries. 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-berkshire-hathaway-stock-price-movement-strong">Berkshire Hathaway Stock Price Movement&nbsp;</h2> 
Currently, BRK stock price is trading at $541K following the gain of 1.35% in the last intraday trading session on Thursday, August 3rd. The up move of even 1% is significant for companies like investment giant, Berkshire Hathaway. 
Berkshire Hathaway <a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/2023/06/28/berkshire-hathaway-nyse-brk-a-stock-position-amid-byd-selloffs/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">stock</a> is in a constant up move since March end and rose more than 20% from its yearly lowest trading price. The level is acting as a strong support for the BRK stock.&nbsp;

The stock price consolidated for about two months within the price range of $506K to $483K. The range is acting as a support zone for BRK stock. Given the continued uptrend, if Berkshire stock sustains the upside movement it can hit the highest trading price at $540K.&nbsp;
