Coinweb, in partnership with Sekuya and Creo Engine, is set to host a nationwide Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports tournament titled “Merdeka.” The competition will feature 128 teams vying for a total prize pool worth 140 million Indonesian Rupiah. This event is a significant component of Coinfest Asia’s Coinfest Week.Under the theme of “Converge,” this year’s Coinfest aims to emphasize the transition of traditional industries into the web3 realm, fostering more effective mass adoption, particularly within the national industry. Qualification rounds through to the quarter-finals will be conducted online from August 15 to 21, 2023.The semifinals and finals will be held in a hybrid format, with an offline venue located at the T.E.A.M DAO Mobile Games Cafe in Bali. This location has been carefully chosen to align with the nature of the mobile esports competition.The event will not only be attended by participating esports players and teams but also by web3 enthusiasts, web3 projects, venture capitalists, and more.
