<p>The automobile manufacturer, Volkswagen has announced a partnership with Chinese electric vehicle startup, XPeng and joint venture partner Shangai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC). The companies have come together to build new models and potentially co-create platforms. Volkswagen is using local expertise to protect its market share.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>Volkswagen initiated its partnership with XPeng to produce two models targeting the middle-class strata of society. The models will carry the logo of VW but will have XPeng know-how on software and autonomous driving. This is a victory for EV startup which is less than a decade old.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The new models are to be launched in 2026 which will positively affect its presence in China. Volkswagen is facing high pressure from investors over its China presence.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The bullish rally has been going on for nearly two months now. Currently, the price is headed toward the next resistance level of $25. The current market structure shows chances of short-term pullback. The earnings results are to be released on 23 August 2023.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The consensus has estimated the revenue to be $741.96 Million and the loss per share estimate is $0.29. The last four quarters have not been profitable for EV makers and did not beat earning per share estimates. If the price can shatter the resistance level of $25, the major resistance level is at $32.50.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The stock price traded above 20, 50, 100, and the 200-day exponential moving average, suggesting bullish momentum. Since 12 July 2023, the Chaikin money flow (CMF) score has dropped from 0.24 to 0.05 which indicates that there is a decrease in bullish pressure.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The relative strength index is trading in an overbought zone since 26 July 2023, implying a chance of a short-term pullback but currently XPEV price has not shown any signs. The Bollinger bands have expanded indicating a rise in volatility.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The price has crossed the upper band of Bollinger and has been trading above it for the past three days.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Technical indicators suggest that there is a chance of pullback but the XPEV price has not shown any signs. If the next candle can break the high of the last candle, it might head toward $25.&nbsp;</p>
