<h2 id="header-0">Worldcoin may face inquiries from the UK data regulator</h2><p>The Worldcoin crypto project may face inquiries from the UK data regulator. Controversial crypto and ID project <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/crypto-id-project-worldcoin-hits-two-m-user-milestone" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Worldcoin</a> may undergo an inquiry by the UK data regulator, the ICO, over privacy and biometric data security concerns. The ICO has confirmed the launch of the project and said they will investigate it and make further inquiries regarding data laws. Worldcoin, co-founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, has raised $115 million in funding. Its native token, WLD, will not launch in the US due to regulatory concerns. Some consider it as an unregistered security. The ICO has declined to comment on the investigation it has carried out.</p>
