Some things we share here might not ever come to fruition, but our goal will be to set clear expectations and communicate with you all about the upcoming roadmap and priorities.This <a href="https://medium.com/&#64;bloktopia/bloktopia-developer-diaries-1-1827868741ba" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">weekly Developer Diary update</a> continues to focus on the theme of removing barriers to entry, as set out earlier in the series in editions <a href="https://medium.com/&#64;bloktopia/bloktopia-developer-diaries-16-fdc564c92519" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">#16</a> and <a href="https://medium.com/&#64;bloktopia/bloktopia-developer-diaries-17-9bc39d253a67" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">#17</a>.At Bloktopia, we strive to remove barriers for entry into the Metaverse to allow everyone to get involved. Initially we supported VR and shortly afterwards added support for desktop PCs in our goal to bring the Metaverse to the masses.We’ve also recently launched one of our biggest products yet, <a href="https://medium.com/&#64;bloktopia/m3tapass-your-passport-to-the-metaverse-c55d2369a98c" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">M3TAPASS</a>, which has an integrated quick and easy QR code scanning feature to access the Metaverse- it’s incredibly convenient and effortless for when you’re ready to immerse yourself in the virtual world!Now, we’re excited to announce that we have implemented a cloud rendering solution- Vagon. Vagon is a high performance cloud computer and application streaming service. With this, a user with a compatible browser and a internet connection are now able to join the full experience through their browser. It’s as simple as that!To begin with, we will support cloud rendering from PC/Mac devices. Then, in the near future, we will expand this support to include mobile devices where possible!<h2 id="header-1">How will this affect users?</h2>With cloud rendering, the vast majority of the hardware requirements are removed from your device, this means you don’t need the latest graphics card or CPU to have the best visual experience, which often come at great expense.As a result of using cloud rendering, users always have access to the highest specification machines available, which guarantees the best visual experience. We can deploy cloud rendering machines geographically close to users in order to minimise latency too.Cloud rendering users also do not need to worry about updating their application, or even installing it. For a user to join the experience, it is as simple as clicking a web link then logging into Bloktopia through your M3TAPASS.To summarise, we see Cloud Rendering playing a key part in the future of how users will join Bloktopia, in our pursuit for making the Home of Crypto accessible to the masses.
