<h2 id="header-0">ASIC Cancels FTX Australia&#39;s License as Crypto Exchange</h2><p>Australia&#39;s financial regulator, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), has officially revoked the financial license of FTX Australia, the bankrupt subsidiary of crypto exchange FTX. The cancellation, effective from July 14, allows FTX Australia to offer limited financial services until July 12 next year as it wraps up its client dealings. The company is also required to make arrangements for compensating clients. FTX Australia previously had 30,000 retail clients and served 132 local firms. FTX&#39;s bankruptcy filing in November 2022 led to the appointment of administrators to restructure FTX Australia and its subsidiary.</p>
