  <p class="is-style-default">Google Play Store has updated its policy to enable blockchain-based app and game developers to integrate non-fungible tokens (NFTs) into their offerings responsibly and transparently. </p> 
  <p>According to the team’s July 12 <a href="https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2023/07/new-blockchain-based-content-opportunities-google-play.html" data-type="URL" data-id="https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2023/07/new-blockchain-based-content-opportunities-google-play.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">blog post</a>, the new policy aims to enable developers of blockchain-based apps to develop more immersive and engaging digital experiences with non-fungible tokens (<a href="https://crypto.news/bored-ape-yacht-club-nft-collection-plummets-over-90-from-600k-peak/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">NFTs</a>). It will take effect on Dec. 7.</p>

  <p>The Google team has buttressed the need for blockchain-based app and game creators to operate responsibly by ensuring they focus on offering users safe, transparent, and trusted experiences.</p>

  <p>The team further clarified that blockchain-based app and game developers must refrain from promoting or glamorizing “any potential earning or rewards users may gain from playing or trading activities.</p>
