<p>Saxo Bank, a Danish online trading platform, has been ordered by the country’s financial regulator to stop its own trading in cryptocurrencies and erase its crypto holdings. The Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) said that Saxo Bank’s crypto activities pose a risk to its solvency and reputation, as well as to the stability of the financial system.</p>

Saxo Bank also said that its crypto activities are a small part of its overall business and that they do not pose a threat to its financial position or reputation.</p>

The Danish government has been considering a ban on crypto trading since 2022, citing concerns over tax evasion, money laundering, and consumer protection. The FSA has also warned investors about the high risks and volatility of crypto assets, as well as the lack of legal protection and recourse in case of fraud or theft.</p>
