<p><em>The time has come for a new form of battle to arise in the fantasy world of Infinity Arena. We call it the Tournament. This is where the sensation of competitiveness and victoriousness becomes more intensive than ever.</em></p><h2 id="header-0">Tournament explained</h2><p>Battle PvP Tournament is a time-limited champion-seeking contest in which pre-registered players fight against each other to claim multiple rewards.</p><h3 id="tentative-timeline">Tentative timeline:</h3><ul><li>Registration: 4 days from 13th to 17th July (purchase a Tournament Ticket)</li><li>Battles: 8 days from 17th to 24th July (auto-matching rivals based on Elo points)</li></ul><h3 id="elo-rankings">Elo &amp; rankings:</h3><p>The tournament leaderboard uses Elo to rank all participants. It is a method for calculating the relative skill levels of players in zero-sum games such as chess.</p><ul><li>Starting a Tournament, everyone gets 1000 Elo(s) equally.</li><li>The result of each battle will lead to an increase or decrease in Elo from the two participants.</li><li>A player&#39;s Elo will decide not only his rank but also who might be his next potential competitor (an online player at the time with the closest Elo level)</li></ul><h3 id="free-entrance-for-early-birds">Free entrance for early birds:</h3><p>Unlike the single showdowns in Battle PvP Betting, the Tournaments require more time investment and higher skills from participants who want to be in the leaderboard. Hence, <strong>the initial Tournaments since the mainnet launch will open for free</strong><em> </em>for everyone to gradually build up their experience.</p><h2 id="header-1">Tournament Launch Date</h2><p>Infinity Arena will have the first Battle PvP Tournament kicked off at <strong>8 AM UTC July 13, 2023 </strong><a href="https://game.infinity-arena.io/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">(web version only)</a></p><p>To get yourselves ready beforehand, players should:</p><ul><li>Prepare a strong Guardian Deck (owned or rented)</li><li>Master the battle strategies using Elemental Synergy and Guardian&#39;s skills</li></ul><h2 id="header-2">About Infinity Arena</h2><p>Infinity Arena, at its heart, is a combination of sci-fi and tactical play-and-earn NFT card game where players travel through the planets in search of Zeronium and defeat in combat to earn the rewards.
