In a startling revelation, the bankruptcy team delving into the financial details of the defunct FTX exchange has uncovered a massive $8.7 billion debt owed to customers. They’re accused of a multitude of underhand tactics, including fabricating documents, deceiving banks and auditors, and strategically relocating FTX Group across multiple jurisdictions, from the United States to Hong Kong and then the Bahamas. This constant geographical maneuvering was allegedly a calculated move to evade detection of their misconduct. 
This exhaustive 33-page analysis, led by CEO John J. Ray III, marks the second report of this nature. An initial investigation undertaken in April unveiled a series of questionable practices, casting first light on the malfeasances that transpired under the guidance of the founder and former CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried.&nbsp; 
Now, Bankman-Fried is bracing himself for a series of criminal charges set to be addressed in a New York court this coming October.
