They can be used when you submit a non-native asset to an account that does not yet have a trustline set up, which can be useful for attracting new users.</p><p>The trustline must be established by the asset claimant before they can claim the unclaimed balance, otherwise the claim will result in an error.</p><p>It is important to note that if the balance is not claimed, it remains on the ledger forever, taking up space and making the network less efficient. For this reason, it is recommended that you list one of your own accounts (sponsor account) as the applicant for the required balance. You, as a sponsor, can then accept your required balance, if necessary, freeing up space on the network.</p><p>Each Claimable Balance Entry is a ledger entry, and each Claimable Balance Entry in that entry increases the original account’s reserve balance by one underlying reserve. For this action, it was necessary to make 2 transactions: 1) Approve the trustline, 2) Claim the balance.</p><p>Now you can claim up to 100 balances in one transaction! This update reduces your time to collect all balances to many hours.</p><h2 id="header-2">How it works on Scopuly</h2><h3 id=""></h3><p><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/236c98ae6e564ea795539987f3428bd9.png" /></p><p>To check and claim your pending balances, go to <a href="https://scopuly.com/claimable-balances" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://scopuly.com/claimable-balances</a>. You must have your Stellar account connected to Scopuly.
