<p>Gemini Foundation is a new non-US crypto derivatives platform that will offer eligible customers the opportunity to trade long or short crypto exposure through a secure and trusted platform. The platform is set to launch with a BTC perpetual contract denominated in Gemini dollars (GUSD), with an ETH/GUSD perpetual contract expected to launch shortly thereafter. Gemini Foundation will be available to customers in several countries, but not in the United States of America.</p>

<p>Gemini Foundation will allow eligible customers to convert USD and USDC into GUSD on a 1:1 basis, and vice versa, in order to fund their accounts at no additional cost. All perpetual funding payments will be in GUSD, and all unrealized and realized P&amp;L will also be in <a href="https://www.cryptopolitan.com/gemini-burnt-one-million-gusd-tokens/?swcfpc=1">GUSD</a>. Furthermore, all fees will be charged in GUSD.</p>



<p>Gemini Foundation will offer eligible customers default leverage of 20x, with a maximum possible leverage of 100x. However, it will not be available to customers in the United States of America.</p>
