This press release is issued by Ecoin Finance (ECOIN) to clarify an investigative article published by crypto.news. As we prioritize honesty to our holders, we will address all points raised in the investigation. As we previously informed our community in October last year (2022), regarding the departure of former team member (M.A. Hussain), who was invited by CEO and Founder of Ecoin Finance (Ronaldo Guedes) to join the DEV team at the time, we confirmed that the UK-registered company named E-Coin Finance LTD had some irregularities in its documentation (as cited in the investigative article). Founder Guedes continuously urged Mr. Hussain to rectify the issue by submitting the pending documents. However, as Mr. Hussain did not comply with Mr. Guedes&#39; requests, this was one of the reasons why the Ecoin Finance founder decided to remove him from the project, aiming to safeguard ECOIN. Mr. Hussain was left with the DEV wallet as a share of assets, with limited withdrawal options using the &#34;no-rug-pull&#34; feature, which protects Ecoin Finance and its stakeholders. Subsequently, Mr. Guedes disassociated Ecoin Finance from the UK, where the former team member&#39;s residency was situated, as Mr. Guedes has always been a resident of Brazil and where he has always managed ECOIN and its ecosystem development. The statement indicating that our company is located in the UK has been removed on our website. The distribution of debit cards integrated with the online payment platform, together with the Crypto Wallet App, will commence in Brazil, where Ecoin Finance will have its main headquarters and documentation in compliance with local laws, enabling it to distribute products. Regarding the observation made in the article about &#34;highly engaged social media,&#34; we clarify that we have NEVER used bots for engagement. This is a violation of Twitter&#39;s &#34;Policy against platform spam and manipulation&#34; and would tarnish ECOIN&#39;s reputation. The only thing we have done to engage with our official ECOIN Twitter profile is to promote certain posts (RT) on influencer profiles with thousands of followers, which enhances relevance and sparks interest by users liking and retweeting the post. Currently, the Crypto Wallet App (ECOIN Wallet) is in the final phase of development, with a progress rate of 90% towards the announcement of the BETA Test date for ECOIN NFT holders.
