<p><a href="https://www.binance.us/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance.US </a>has been given permission to purchase the assets of the defunct Voyager company, which includes roughly 4 trillion <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/tag/shib/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Shiba Inu (SHIB)</a> tokens. In spite of strong opposition from the Securities and Exchange Commission, the regulators in New Jersey and Texas, a U.S. bankruptcy judge named Michael Wiles recently gave the exchange the go-ahead to proceed with the takeover transaction.</p><h2 id="header-0">A look intoVoyager’s assets status</h2><p>Binance.US will acquire all of Voyager’s assets once the agreement receives final clearance and is anticipated to be valued at more than one billion dollars. As of the time of this publication, the value of Voyager’s <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/tag/cryptocurrency/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">cryptocurrency</a> holdings is estimated to be $757.8 million, according to statistics provided by the <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/blockchain/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">blockchain</a> monitoring portal Lookonchain.</p><p>Among them are 3.99 quadrillions SHIB with a value of 44.1 million dollars. Only its holdings in <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/tag/usdc/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">USDC</a> ($459 million), <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/ethereum/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ETH</a> ($157.7 million), and VGX ($61.6 million) are larger than its SHIB holdings, making them the fourth biggest single holding on its sheets.</p><p>The current value of Voyager’s digital assets is the result of a number of transactions that were conducted while the company was going through the bankruptcy process. The most recent round of sales includes 27,255 ETH, which was purchased for $42 million, 11 million VGX, which was sold for $6.3 million, 400 billion SHIB, which was purchased for $4.4 million, and 160,000 LINK, which was purchased for $1 million.</p><h2 id="header-1">There have been a couple of Voyager asset sell-offs</h2><p>When it comes to the majority of these selloffs, billions of Shiba Inu tokens have always been involved. On February 1, Voyager completed the sale of 270 billion SHIB to Coinbase, Kraken, and Binance.US, as was previously announced. On February 15, the exchange also completed the sale of 250 billion SHIB tokens to Coinbase. Also, the insolvent institution sold off 300 billion SHIB on March 1st as part of its liquidation process.</p><p>With the most recent court clearance for Binance.US to take the company’s assets, holders of crypto bags are hoping that Voyager would stop its selloff campaign.</p>
