On February 24th, 2023, Nettention’s ProudNet, led by CEO Choi Sung-wone, announced its acquisition of AWS Partner Paths from Amazon Web Services (AWS).To earn AWS Partner Path certification, organizations must enroll in the AWS Partner Network (APN) and meet eligibility requirements for their chosen Partner Path program, which may include achieving specific AWS certifications, demonstrating technical proficiency, meeting customer success metrics, and showcasing a strong AWS-related business.AWS Partner Path certification provides benefits such as dedicated support, training discounts, and marketing resources to help promote an organization’s AWS-related business.Following the acquisition of ProudNet by PlayDapp, ProudNet underwent AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR) verification and received the AWS Qualified Software badge, highlighting the excellence and stability of its service and the security of its server engine.To earn the AWS Qualified Software badge, software solutions must undergo an FTR process to evaluate their performance, security, and compliance with AWS best practices. The software must also meet AWS’s technical and operational requirements, which may vary depending on the specific AWS service or product.Once approved, the AWS Qualified Software badge is awarded to the software’s developers to display on marketing materials and product documentation, indicating that their software meets the highest technical standards and has been verified by AWS. Earning the badge can help differentiate a software solution and demonstrate expertise in designing secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.ProudNet, previously a subsidiary of Pearl Abyss, is a P2P network engine optimized for game servers that are used by more than 200 games worldwide. Its portfolio includes popular titles such as “Vindictus”, “Monster Taming”, “Seven Knights”, “Marvel Future Fight”, and “Street Fighter 5”.
