<p><strong><em>Referring to technology 4.0, blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) are the two terms that are mentioned the most.</em></strong></p><p>AI is taking over. Language bots like ChatGPT and AI image generators like Midjourney and Dall-E have shown the world what artificial intelligence is capable of. Tech companies are already scrambling to integrate it into their models. Within weeks of its launch, Microsoft is allegedly close to finalizing a 10 billion USD  deal with the creators.</p><p>But AI and crypto, together? There’s an untapped potential we’re only just beginning to see put to use. It could transform both industries.</p><h2 id="header-0"><strong>Crypto’s problem</strong></h2><p>Cryptocurrency doesn’t work like a traditional financial system. Crypto is volatile and prone to wild swings. We’ve seen more than one coin fold under the pressure of the economic downturn.</p><p>The problem here is that scams are rampant, crypto hackers are rife, and there&#39;s no remedy. Nearly $2 billion in cryptocurrency was stolen last August and many people did not get their money back. These incidents happened too often and gradually lost investors&#39; confidence in the market.</p><h2 id="header-1"><strong>Token AI</strong></h2><p>The rise of the AI trend began after the news that Microsoft wanted to invest 10 billion USD in OpenAI, in exchange for a 49% stake in the company. Previously, in 2019, Microsoft poured 1 billion USD into OpenAI and became the preferred partner to commercialize new technology for Bing search engine and Microsoft Design design application, in order to compete directly with Google.</p><p>Before the above information, the SingularityNET AI project has risen to the top of the momentum in the past few days. The price of the AGIX token has been on the rise to as high as 0.1 USD before returning to $0.083 at press time. According to data on CoinMarketCap, the trading volume of this token also gained significant momentum on the 24h frame.</p><h2 id="header-2"><strong>Solution for problems</strong></h2><p>Crypto and the blockchain are all about anonymity. This makes it vulnerable to a range of scams, like market manipulation and outright theft. It’s a fair assumption to make after last year, but AI has the potential to insulate investors from big losses with algorithmic trading.</p><p>AI can spot trends and make decisions faster than any human. When it comes to trading, this works well - when you add volatile crypto into the mix, it makes even more sense.</p><p>The average retail investor can use this to their advantage with packages of crypto trades, similar to ETFs. Not to mention that if crypto is perceived as less risky, more investors will join the party.</p><h2 id="header-5"><strong>Automation</strong></h2><p>This is perhaps the biggest strength in introducing AI to crypto. So much of investing in crypto relies on your own understanding of the topic.</p><p>Gone would be the days of spending hours researching which crypto coins or tokens are best to buy. AI could decide everything for you, freeing up valuable time. It could also reduce any human errors in crypto data.</p><h2 id="header-6"><strong>Summary</strong></h2><p>In general, Token AI will probably be the trend in the future. However, it will take some time for this technology to reach the majority of the public and crypto users in particular.</p>
