<p>Tonic co-founder and chief executive officer Susannah Maybank announces the opening of its fine art gallery dubbed Tonic.xyz. Tonic.xyz aims to deliver highly selected generative art on the blockchain to crypto and non-crypto art and design fans.</p><h2 id="header-0">What is Tonic.xyz generative art</h2><p>To generate collections for the gallery, Tonic has chosen the work of great generative artists, who code semi-autonomous systems to make one-of-a-kind works.</p><p>Tonic’s inaugural collection, showcasing the work of artist and Design Milk creator Jaime Derringer, will be released on January 31, followed by generative art luminaries Stefano Contiero and William Mapan in February and March, respectively.</p><p><a href="https://tonic.xyz/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Chromesthesia: Ascend</a>, the first collection by artist Derringer for Tonic, explores the phenomena of seeing colors in reaction to particular noises or other stimuli via the use of generative creation.</p><h2 id="header-1">Innovative art on blockchain</h2><p>Tonic strives to provide a secure and inviting environment for learning about and collecting fine art NFTs that span the <a href="https://micky.com.au/korins-and-eley-partner-with-matterport-to-bring-works-of-art-to-metaverse/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">digital and physical worlds</a>.</p><p>Tonic will assist in converting non-crypto-natives with a familiar Web2 commerce experience design, easy credit card payments, a provisional wallet service, white-glove concierge services, and optional physical prints, since Web3 may be scary for individuals unfamiliar with the technology.</p><p>“It is incredibly exciting to witness the development of a new innovative art movement that will create a major disruption in the world of fine art. There is still a disconnect between collectors and the Web3 space, mainly due to a lack of education and understanding, which is why we built Tonic,” says Maybank.</p>
