The Meme coin scene has really taken off in recent weeks on the Solana Eco-system. After the launch and success of the popular token $BONK, there has been a flourishing of new Meme coins following in their steps.Some Pumped, Dumped, Rugged. So where are they now?At the Shibonk Core, we know at the core of any project, tokenomics are the biggest factor when it comes to making the longevity of a project a success. We have seen multiple projects in recent weeks overlook this key factor and have since faced the consequences. We will cover some key Tokenomic factors and some notable projects overlooked below:Supply Distribution:<ul><li>Supply distribution is very important, it does not matter how much supply there was created number-wise, it all comes down to the Percentages. Having a large liquidity pool from Launch on any community token is the first step to project stability and fair distribution when it comes to investor trading. We saw 2 different projects this week that Launched with less than 5% of their total supply in the initial Liquidity pool paired with a very small amount of Solana</li><li>Adding a small % of Project supply up for open market purchase paired with also a small number of liquid tokens EG: Sol, Usdc, etc can cause inflated valuations, which ends up translating into initial Investor losses.</li><li>We saw many projects have an initial Launch pump, yet failed to sustain growth since their initial gaining of attention from only people receiving an airdrop who only have a short attention span, leaving their token on the ground floor with distrusted investors waiting to get their initials back, low social interactions from Airdrop community members and also a lack of Liquidity to support future project ventures and sustainability.</li><li>Having a large amount of supply being airdropped to people that were only looking to support socials to help the community grow until they received an airdrop is a sure way to put the nail in the coffin. The initial Social pushers bring in investors, those investors buy tokens at an inflated valuation providing exit liquidity for those receiving Token airdrops, then token airdrop people sell and never interact with the project again. This leaves initial investors with a low token price, a small liquidity pool, and negative sentament in the community.</li><li>Example charts: Fronk Inu $FRONK, Chili $Chili</li></ul><img src="https://miro.medium.com/max/788/1*42fZxog39oLh5bLnwZLvXw.png" /><img src="https://miro.medium.com/max/788/1*MMz2wnI_h2NSwllU_dxM6Q.png" />Now let&#39;s take a dive into Shibonk&#39;s initial Supply distribution and why it is sustainable for the foreseeable future going hand in hand with price action and growth.<ul><li>The initial liquidity for the Shibonk Token was 400 Solana (Currently $9,600) and 30% of the total Shibonk Supply (126,000 $SBONK), this gave initial market traders and long-term holders to evenly transact in the market without large amounts of supply being distributed to early buyers only.</li><li>The initial Air drop allocation for the first week from Launch was 1% of supply, giving the team enough tokens to distribute tokens to roughly 13,000 individual addresses, each receiving roughly 0.3 tokens and being valued at roughly $6,300 in total or $0.4 each.</li><li>In return for this airdrop allocation, Shibonk Reached a total of 1M Social Interactions within 6 days. 8,000 Token Holders, 23,000 Twitter followers, 6000 Discord members, and 1500 telegram members. If the Shibonk team can continue with ONLY 10% of this trend line of growth, sacrificing the same amounts of supply for the foreseeable future, the compounding growth of the Shibonk community should be expected to hit 45,000 Holders, 150,000 Twitter Followers, 30,000 Discord Members, and 10,000 Telegram members.</li><li>Moving toward the future, the Shibonk team is actively finding new ways to interact with community growth through social experiments and believes their next venture, the Shibonk Gang NFT collection will open a new door to the growth of the community.
