However, with our most recent feature Galxe ID SDK, Galxe ID users can avoid the hassle of repeating the process of authorization and verification repeatedly. As a result, projects can onboard users much faster and easier.With this powerful tool, projects will better get to know Galxe ID users’ identities and access their profile information, so users can skip the laborious and tedious onboarding process. Of course, projects will still need to obtain permission from users, but just one time will do.How it WorksGalxe ID SDK (Software Development Kit) is a developer interface that allows projects to obtain permission from Galxe ID users to access certain information on their profiles. The only accessible data are what users voluntarily connected and authorized, such as Twitter handles, email addresses, etc. Users will be able to view and edit Connected Apps in their Galxe ID profile later.<img src="https://miro.medium.com/max/700/1*IlmzJjxYsTrlv9IOA3k_aA.png" />To get started, projects need to <a href="https://galxe.com/myspaces" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">set up their Galxe Space first</a> in order to <a href="https://forms.galxe.com/galxe/form/GalxeDashboardSupportRequest1/formperma/hFMVMUoY0_MBsn9MhrBjFZWUoBuEB1wSnnGIiQcFN6k" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">apply for their own client secret and client keys</a>. Then, project developers can choose the information they wish to access from Galxe ID users’ profiles, within the scope whitelist including email address, Twitter account, Discord account, Github account, EVM address, and Solana address. Galxe’s OAuth implementation supports the standard <a href="https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6749#section-4.1" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">authorization code grant type</a> for apps that don’t have access to a web browser.<img src="https://miro.medium.com/max/700/1*iFJCsVC16_vSvsEFupmisw.png" />Galxe ID users who have voluntarily connected and uploaded the chosen information will get a notification upon request. Users will be able to see which project is asking for permission and a list of data that are being requested. Once users approve, projects will be granted a temporary code in exchange for an access token, which will be required to call the API. Developers can also refresh the access token and get access token details. The only difference is that Galxe ID SDK uses OAuth authentication while Galxe Passport SDK is a one-time authorization.<a href="https://blog.galxe.com/introducing-galxe-passport-53502725636a" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Galxe Passport</a> is a Soulbound Token to store data securely, privately, and protect verified individuals from sybil attacks. These data are only accessible to users, all others (including Galxe) can only access these data if users voluntarily decrypt and share them.<img src="https://miro.medium.com/max/700/1*v_zzlX9A0_M_L2diF6QIew.png" />Since Galxe only keeps an encrypted version of users’ Galxe Passport information, Passport holders will need to authorize decryption before they grant projects access to their data.
