<h2 id="header-0">Sam Bankman-Fried has also asked to keep the identities of his bail guarantors a secret because he intends to enter a not guilty plea in front of the American court today.</h2><p><a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/ex-ftx-ceo-gets-offcially-released-on-bail" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Sam Bankman-Fried</a>, the disgraced crypto tycoon who is charged with defrauding investors and stealing billions of dollars in client deposits from his now-defunct FTX exchange, is most likely to enter a plea to the charges brought against him today. Additionally, SBF has asked the judge to keep the names of two people under wraps who will help him post bail.</p><h3 id="the-new-request-from-sam-bankman-fried">The New Request from Sam Bankman-Fried</h3><p>Bankman Fried&#39;s attorneys submitted a letter on Tuesday asking that the names of the two people attempting to serve as sureties for his bail package be withheld from public view. They contended that the names shouldn&#39;t be made public and that there is no reason for the public to know this information.</p><p>According to sources, Bankman Fried&#39;s attorneys warned that, although having no meaningful link to the case, the two remaining sureties would undoubtedly face intense media scrutiny and harassment if their identities were made known.</p><p>The attorneys also asserted that the sureties&#39; safety and privacy are &#34;countervailing reasons&#34; that far outweigh the assumption that the public should have access to the comparatively modest material at issue.</p><h4>Two New Guarantors for SBF</h4><p>The judge demanded that the bond be signed by two other well-off individuals who cannot be related to Bankman-Fried, in addition to him and his parents. The two people have not yet signed, but according to SBF&#39;s lawyers, they plan to do so by the deadline of January 5th.</p><p>The identities of the other two people have become the subject of intense speculation in the crypto world as a result of this. Some assume they are close associates of SBF from his <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency/ftx-token-ftt-prices-usd" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">FTX </a>exchange, while others cynically connect them to Shark Tank investor Kevin O&#39;Leary for his outspoken backing of the cryptocurrency pioneer.</p><p>One of the largest bail amounts in American history, Bankman- Fried&#39;s bail package of $250 million was approved in December. Bankman- Fried&#39;s parents Palo Alto, California home&#39;s equity was utilized to pay for the judge-approved personal recognisance bail. The Palo Alto home where he resides with his parents, renowned Stanford University law professors Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried, was also ordered to keep him under house arrest.</p>
