Community ContestsDecember is the month for sharing, giving, and receiving presents, and the Moonland marketing team did just that. They don’t call it the ‘most wonderful time of the year’ out of nothing; our December goal was to engage with the community. To do so, we made the top three different community contests that go as follows.<ol><li>Character Reveal</li><li><ol><li>With every new character, the idea was to create a sense of expectation and excitement in all our socials. We had a first reveal with the character’s image blurred. Then, we posted the character’s picture and name. Moonlanders loved them. Thanks to the concept and development team updates and work, we had four characters.</li><li>However, that’s not all. For our first character, Sol Boosk, who manages the Galactic Marketplace, we created a riddle contest where we posted riddles for our community to try and guess the name. And so they did; we got a total of 10 lucky winners.</li><li>And to end with the Character Reveal contests - we also enabled a fun opportunity for Moonlanders to write and create the character’s storyline in Moonland. We held the contest on CoinMarketCap, and Moonlanders wrote amazing stories for Sol, Angler, Drago, and Doggo.</li></ol></li></ol><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/7730c369facd46e78d242c8db7532728.png" />2. Meme Contest<ol><li><ol><li>The Discord meme and fan art channel in December were on fire. As Moonlanders kept sharing their unique creations, we decided to make it a weekly contest. Every Thursday, we posted rules and chose 5 winners as a team. However, we mixed our character revealed with the meme contest and added a little twist. Moonlanders had to use the character revealed in their memes. Sunday Quiza. Last but not least, we created a day for quiz lovers alongside Qtum. Sunday quizzes were sent out weekly for Moonlanders to answer the questions, and the top 10 that got at least 80% of the questions right got their rewards.III. AMAs &amp; New PartnershipsDecember contests were a success, and we’re hoping to continue elevating the game and engaging with our community daily.A second December update for our Marketing team was the different AMAs and encounters with our community and partners. We got invited to various AMAs with Andres Meneses, Moonland’s Ambassador and Crypto Influencer, in Binance Live and another AMA with Citizen Conflict at NFT World News Tech. Attending AMAs was a great way to answer questions and give important info - and significant spoilers- to our community.And as December ends, so does 2022, we’re ready and thrilled to continue building the best community on web 3.0, and we hope all our 2023 objectives come true.
