<h2 id="header-0">The Ripple vs. US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) case involving the XRP token is nearing its conclusion. Crypto whales are continuing to accumulate XRP in expectation of a favorable conclusion.</h2><p>Attorney James Filan reported that Amicus Curiae Paradigm Operations LP&#39;s attorney Rodrigo Seira filed an application to appear as Pro Hac Vice. Paradigm is a company that helps digital asset and Web3 enterprises.</p><p>The firm stated in its filing that the SEC rhetoric in the XRP litigation goes further than its arguments demand or the law allows. The commission claims that XRP tokens, and thus many other <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/cryptocurrency" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">crypto assets</a>, are securities.</p><p>It said that the separation between offer and sale transactions and underlying crypto assets is crucial.</p><h3 id="whales-moving-ripple-39-s-token">Whales moving Ripple&#39;s token</h3><p>However, crypto whales have transferred more than 111 million XRP tokens in the last 24 hours. As per reports, around $42.6 million in XRP tokens had been moved in the last day.</p><p>A whale bought $15.9 million in XRP tokens from the Bitso cryptocurrency exchange in a single transaction. This significant accumulation has occurred during the recent price drop.</p><p><strong>In the last 24 hours, the <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency/ripple-xrp-prices-usd" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">price of XRP</a> has fallen by around 4.55%. At the time of writing, Ripple&#39;s native token was trading at an average price of $0.3641.
