The Salmonation team on Friday 16 December 2022 held an online meeting via the Zoom application, with a number of important figures to discuss the adoption and implementation of blockchain, especially from the Halal and food product sector.At this meeting the Salmonation Team discussed with several experts in their respective fields, namely Prof. Dr. Muhammad Firdaus, SP, M.Sc. who currently serves as the Educational and Cultural Attache of the Indonesian Embassy (Atdikbud KBRI) in Kuala Lumpur.Also attending, Assc. prof.Dr Marissa Haque Fawzi as a practitioner who focuses on the halal industry, who is currently engaged in research on blockchain technology to be integrated in various conventional sectors.From his presentation, SUI CEO Meidy Saputra Salmon highlighted various issues and challenges faced by blockchain developers, especially in terms of mass adoption. Meanwhile, technology development is a challenge for developers to build a healthy ecosystem. With proper development and education, it is hoped that blockchain adoption will be even more massive.Prof. Muhammad Firdaus welcomed the Salmonation Team&#39;s efforts in paving the way for blockchain research, to be implemented in various industrial sectors. For example in terms of the food industry, agriculture, and others. The role of blockchain can be very vital in terms of efficiency in improving the supply chain. So that it will increase the competitiveness of domestic products in the international arena.&#34;I agree with Mr. Salmon that for the current blockchain there is still very little implementation,&#34; he said.&#34;The Indonesian Embassy is very supportive and hopes to be able to do something for collaboration between interested parties. In Malaysia itself, nothing is imported, and they are very concerned about halal products,&#34; he added.From the results of the online meeting with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Firdaus, SP, M.Sc. and Asc. prof. Dr. Marissa Haque Fawzi, produced collaborative programs related to literacy education on halal products and blockchain technology, especially in the field of research implementation and continuous work program activities.
