There goes no day in the crypto space when CZ does not make it to a headline. The series continued with CZ coming forward with clarifications on the <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-details/what-is-crypto-market-volatility-and-how-to-deal-with-it-coingabbar" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">massive price fluctuations </a>in the prices of some crypto tokens listed on Binance.The prices for Sun Token (SUN), Ardor (ARDR), Osmosis (OSMO), FUNToken (FUN), and Golem (GLM) tokens recorded abnormal fluctuations, creating rumors about hackers fiddling with the exchange. However, Binance clarified via its twitter hand that it has initiated the investigation to look into the matter and will keep the users updated.Later on, Changpeng Zhao, founder, and CEO of Binance posted a series of tweets in which he clarified that this price movement had nothing to do with any hacker activities. CZ claimed it was a natural market movement as one account deposited and started to transact followed by a rally on the same trading pairs.According to the Binance investigative reports, the activity was not related to any systematic price manipulation but still, Binance stopped the withdrawals for the profiting accounts. The sudden withdrawals on these trading pairs have attracted severe backlash from the <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-details/top-10-crypto-exchanges-you-should-know-about-coingabbar-blogs" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">exchange</a>, calling Binance ‘too interfering’.In the last tweet of the series of three tweets, CZ said, “We are aware of the concept of too much intervention from the platform, “too centralized” attacks, etc. There is a balance to how much we should intervene. Sometimes, these happen in a free market, and we need to let it play out.”CZ stated that such price fluctuations are the nature of the cryptocurrency markets and any further intervention from Binance would damage the values of decentralized finance.
