<h2 id="header-0">The Binance team reacted to allegations that the unusual price fluctuations in some altcoins were caused by a hack or exploitation involving 3Commas.</h2><p>News about the Binance 3Commas hack: Although it is good news for cryptocurrencies, the recent large purchases on <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/binance-witnesses-30-percent-rise-in-trading-activity" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance</a> raised some questions in the cryptocurrency world. This is because there are worries that the 3Commas API leak could lead to a Binance breach. The cryptocurrency exchange, however, claimed that it doesn&#39;t seem to be a case of hacking or asset compromise. The team declared that &#34;funds are SAFU&#34; and that it was investigating the relevant accounts to see if any further action needed to be taken.</p><h3 id="exploitation-of-a-binance-account-using-the-3commas-api">Exploitation of a Binance account using the 3Commas API?</h3><p>A cryptocurrency dealer named Coin Mamba alleged on Friday that his 3Commas API had been exploited to trade low-cap altcoins and influence prices. He issued a warning to users cautioning them against having cryptocurrency on their Binance account, claiming that he had merely uploaded the API on the 3Commas platform. On Sunday, it was reported that exchanges in a few alternative coins occurred at extraordinarily high prices. The altcoins were taken, according to Wu Blockchain, a cryptocurrency reporter, by hackers connected to the 3Commas site.</p><p>&#34;Many cryptocurrencies, including OM, AMP, NEXO, POLS, SUN, ARDR, BIFI, XVS, ARK, LOOM, and OSMO, were contra traded in Binance. It appears that hackers stole several users&#39; API KEYs in connection with 3Commas.</p><p>The Binance team responded to accusations of exploitation in the meantime. The administration of the exchange stated that there had been &#34;abnormal price swings&#34; for the cryptocurrency. <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/home?" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance </a>claimed that the behaviour does not appear to be connected to any hack and that the funds remain secure.</p><h4>An attempt at phishing?</h4><p>On the other hand, the 3Commas team stated that it was collaborating on the problem with the Binance team. It said that older keys would be withdrawn after three months of inactivity. It implied that the incident might have been a phishing incident.</p><p>The unusual trades, according to Binance CEO CZ, were just the consequence of &#34;market behaviour.&#34; He claimed that when a trader placed money and started buying the alternative currency, others started to accumulate. The cryptocurrency exchange, however, claimed that it had temporarily disabled withdrawals from accounts that were showing earnings in response to concerns on social media.</p>
