Throughout the last few months, the team at Wizarre has put our heads down and continued to build to bring our community the very best version of our game. We’ve been off to the races in December, looking to close out 2022 on a high note and set the stage for even more to come in 2023.To that end, we’re excited to announce that the moment is finally here — the Early Access version of our game is going live on Friday, December 16, 2022!Already excited? With this upgrade, we’re taking things to an entirely new level, bringing our users unparalleled flexibility with their characters and items within the Wizarre ecosystem.Here’s a list of all the new features:<ul><li>Dedicated PC &amp; Mobile Tutorials: Comprehensive walkthroughs and guides will be made available to all players before they begin their first game (also accessible at any time afterward)</li><li>Shortcuts: Shortcuts enabled for PC users (hotkeys) on their keyboards, allowing for faster gameplay and greater ease of use</li><li>Pomegrenade Ultimate Spell Rework: Upgraded to make aril trajectory more organized (previously scattered)</li><li>Laser Fishrain Ultimate Spell Addition: Users can now set left and right directions</li><li>Carrot Abundance Spell Addition: Carrots now remain live until picked up or destroyed by another spell (instead of disappearing)</li><li>Pumpkin, Toadstool, Crab, &amp; Crabgoyle Spells: Visual predictions have been added and will function similarly to the Wall Spell, where their outlines will be visible in front of Wizards before casting</li><li>Critical Strike Down Adjustment: Bonus damage has been reduced from 200% to 150%</li><li>Wizard Hand Shadow: Improvements made to the look and feel of shadows (cosmetic change)</li><li>Spell Information Hover: Users can view spell information by hovering over this section also in the menu and Wizard’s choosing</li><li>Queue’s HP/Mana Sync Upgrade: Changed to real-time instead of updating after 1 turn</li><li>Length Extension: Turn lengths have been increased to 45 seconds instead of the previous 30 seconds</li></ul><h2 id="header-1">New User Interface</h2>Our user interface makes up the bread and butter of Wizarre, facilitating smooth gameplay and attracting users in terms of appeal.The new version of our game will have a completely revamped and upgraded UI, with the following features:<ul><li>Menu Revamps: A completely new look and feel has been added for the main, game mode, and upgraded Wizard’s choosing menus, including revamps to the background, icons, and interface</li><li>Casting Power UI Upgrade: Enhancements made to visually upgrade the casting power so it has a larger range (easier to control)</li><li>Casting Marker System Upgrade: Visual changes added to display the maximum available range and improve the appearance of trajectories</li><li>New Casting Viewfinder: Design upgrade to elevate look and feel</li><li>Profile Images for Guest Accounts: 2 user pictures (incognito) will be available for free guest accounts that don’t connect their Web3 wallets to the platform</li><li>Terrain Change: Destroyed terrain has been modified to have an outline, making it clearer where a Wizard can stand without falling off of the map</li></ul><h2 id="header-2">Additional Features</h2>Last but not least, we have several final game additions and improvements we’d like to share with everyone.Take a look below to see what we’ve got in store:<ul><li>PC Game Launcher: PC users will be able to download and install the Wizarre game only once and notify them when new patches are available (eliminates the need to download an archive with all the files)</li><li>Wizard Adhesion Upgrade: Will make the user experience smoother by making it easier for Wizards to fly in tight spaces, removing previous issues in the Beta version</li><li>Settings Improvements: This will make the settings more logical and connected to where you are on the platform (i.e. menu, directly in the game), moving away from the previous version where they were all identical</li></ul>As time goes on, our team will continue to evaluate the currently available features and provide upgrades as needed to further enhance the overall user experience.Entering the Next Phase of WizarreWe’re confident that our Early Access release will turn heads, serving as the next logical phase following our beta version to move us one step closer to the full game launch.Throughout the process of utilizing and testing the latest version of our platform, we encourage our community members to provide feedback to the Wizarre team and, most of all, enjoy the experience!Curious to learn more?
