Nigeria sets ATM withdrawal limits to force CBDC use</h2>Nigeria has limited ATM withdrawals to $45 (₦20,000) per day and $225 (₦100,000) per week.Individuals will be hit with a 5% fee and businesses with a 10% fee for amounts above those limits.Nigeria is pushing its “cash-less Nigeria” policy to increase the use of the eNaira, its CBDC.
