<p>Myria, the first Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution designed for gaming. With its all-in-one platform, which includes the Myria NFT marketplace, Myria Wallet, Myria Game Platform, and a decentralized exchange, Myria simplifies the trade of digital assets and blockchain gaming. We interviewed Kyle, Community Growth Manager &amp; Representative of Myria, to better understand what Myria is doing and its mission.</p><h3 id="1-how-would-you-describe-myria-in-your-own-words">1. How would you describe Myria in your own words?</h3><p>Myria is an L2 solution built on the Ethereum network, one of the most decentralized blockchains in the world. As L2 we inherited the security of Ethereum while having scalability of up to 9,000 TPS. This makes it possible for games and platforms building on Myria able to achieve true global scaling. And we currently have 200 games in the pipeline.</p><h3 id="2-what-are-the-genres-of-all-the-200-games">2. What are the genres of all the 200 games?</h3><p>We have an ecosystem page where you can view some of these games. FPS, mobile games, VR games, racing, and battle royale games are all there.</p><h3 id="3-how-did-the-founders-put-this-dream-team-together">3. How did the founders put this dream team together?</h3><p>The founders have been in the Web 3 space for quite some time. They built a thriving platform before they started Myria. They have always been a firm believer in the Web 3 space and how blockchain technology can change the way we conduct our daily lives. It was just an easy decision for them to step forward and take their hands to build Myria, something that will impact society for the better.</p><h3 id="4-what-are-the-features-of-myria-that-attract-gamers-and-developers">4. What are the features of Myria that attract gamers and developers?</h3><p>We are powered by Starkware’s ZK roll-up technology, which makes us highly scalable with 9,000 transactions per second and 0 gas fees. Developers can focus on building the game and end users are going to have a better experience. We have SDK and API that help developers to integrate seamlessly into our ecosystem.</p><h3 id="5-what-games-are-currently-available-on-myira-now">5. What games are currently available on Myira now?</h3><p>We have one game from our partner, Moonville, which just launched its alpha testing. It’s super exciting if you are a Farmville type of gamer. Currently, the game is running the Solar Festival campaign. They did an airdrop to our sigil holders called Super Nova Maxi to give them a boost in the game. Gamers will be able to complete daily missions and earn points on the leaderboard. Once you complete the daily mission players will be rewarded with credits, and subsequent missions will increase in difficulty but gamers can accumulate the credits during the alpha. Those credits can be converted into tangible rewards later on.</p><p>We also have a lot of sneak peeks in our discord channel, with a lot of concept arts from other games.</p><h3 id="6-myria-has-its-own-studio-to-build-its-own-games-but-also-supports-other-studios-to-build-on-myria-how-did-you-make-it-happen">6. Myria has its own studio to build its own games but also supports other studios to build on Myria. How did you make it happen?</h3><p>Myria is more of an ecosystem. We already set ourselves apart from others with our high scalability. That’s what attracts other studios to come to build on Myria, along with the tools we provide that make it easy for developers. And of course, we have games being built in-house as well. You can check out all the games listed under the “ecosystem” tab on our website.</p><h3 id="7-what-is-the-most-compelling-reason-for-developers-to-join-the-myria-ecosystem">7. What is the most compelling reason for developers to join the Myria ecosystem?</h3><p>Over 200 games already on board is one thing that sets us apart. And we have over 1 million registered users, over 300,000 community members, and partnering with guilds and other platforms like Carv. We are just working with everybody in Web 3 space to actually have a true impact in the community. Our SDK and API make everything much more seamless for developers to just focus on building fund games and have a real impact. And we have an incredible world-class AAA team behind it.</p><h3 id="8-besides-moonville-any-upcoming-games-in-the-near-future">8. Besides Moonville, any upcoming games in the near future?</h3><p>We have been running some Twitter spaces recently with our partner games, including Carnage Carnival, Psyber X, Metarush, etc. To my knowledge, Psyber X is about to launch alpha/beta very soon. You can find out more details in our discord. There might be another game coming out soon. Stay tuned!</p><h3 id="9-what-s-your-personal-favorite-game-genre">9. What’s your personal favorite game genre?</h3><p>FPS it is. I’m a big Call of Duty player, and I grew up on Halo. These two games I can literally play these every day and never get tired of them. I didn’t like Battle Royale in the first place but gradually grew on it as I played more and more. For other game genres, once I learn the mechanics and loop I can start to enjoy playing them, such as MMO, fighter games, mobile, and MOBA. But FPS is my favorite. Period.</p><h3 id="10-the-node-whitelist-sale-ended-on-october-16th-what-can-we-expect-from-public-sales">10. The Node Whitelist sale ended on October 16th. What can we expect from public sales?</h3><p>The public sale will be very soon. Our discord is where you can stay up-to-date with everything. Also on our website, there’s an email list you can actually sign up on the “Node” page. We just wrapped up the whitelist sale on October 16th. So I am super excited about the public sale.</p><h3 id="11-what-can-we-expect-from-holding-those-nodes">11. What can we expect from holding those Nodes?</h3><p>In terms of the nodes, holding Myria nodes will receive daily $Myria token rewards and voting rights. So each Node is allowed to vote on proposed changes to the Myria chain. And node owners will also hold greater voting power throughout the Myria verse. Exclusive NFTs airdrop is another one. Node owners will also be rewarded with NFT drops and tokens based on their reputation score as node operators and general community members.</p><h3 id="12-could-you-tell-us-more-about-myria-sigils-what-are-the-myria-sigils">12. Could you tell us more about Myria Sigils? What are the Myria Sigils?</h3><p>I joined Myria as the community growth manager after Sigil airdrop. But I’ll try to do my best on that one. Myria Sigils is for early registered users who expected airdrops. All the Sigils holders received Moonville Farm’s airdrops, and definitely will receive more in the future.</p><h3 id="13-how-does-ethereum-merge-affect-the-layer-2-ecosystems-such-as-myria">13. How does Ethereum merge affect the layer 2 ecosystems such as Myria?</h3><p>Ethereum is still far away from scaling as layer 1. And layer 2s have been proven and have much more space to grow. The merge will only benefit layer 2 with higher security and throughput. And layer 2 will continue to be the answer to global mainstream mass adoption. We published an article on our Medium account, by Matt P, on continued use cases for layer 2. You guys should definitely check it out.</p><h3 id="14-i-believe-myria-is-going-to-disrupt-space-and-as-a-node-holder-are-there-any-specific-timelines-regarding-the-nodes-being-operational">14. I believe Myria is going to disrupt space. And as a node holder, are there any specific timelines regarding the nodes being operational?</h3><p>We are definitely looking to disrupt space, there’s no doubt about that. I am actually looking forward to doing a space very soon, probably in November, with one of the product leads to talk about the nodes. I believe the space will be in November.
